YOUR PHOTO SESSION
Portrait and headshot photo sessions take place in ourstudio in Budapest. In case of companies, it is possible to request an on-site setup, for this an extra fee is charged.
At the beginning of the photo shoot, we choose from the clothes you brought, which ones we will use and in what order. For more details on the recommended clothing, see below.
After that, we make the makeup for women, which takes about 45 minutes. We make a natural make-up for our business-oriented portraits. With our Full Experience Package you can build up on makeup (stronger eyes and lipstick) as the shoot goes on.
Usually, we start with the more formal clothes, and then we turn to the loose, more casual look. We don't set how many times you can change. The bigger the package you choose, the more time you have to try all outfits in front of the camera.
The special feature of our sessions is that we shoot directly to a computer, so we can review the images on a big screen. Looking at the pictures we'll discuss what settings are working for you and we continue shooting them. Along the shoot we sort out the photos that are being made, so we only keep the best ones.
After the photo shoot, this selection gallery is uploaded to our site in a non-public gallery. Balázs will highlight the best ones in his opinion. From the uploaded images, you can then select which images will be retouched for you.
We don't give out raw or unretouched images in any form. The selected images will be kept for at least 1 year after the photo shoot, so you can order from them later as well.
Retouched images are sent in digital format via a file sharing system within 5 business days of selection. If you need the pictures as soon as possible, you have the option to purchase a 24-hour express option for +20% of the whole fee.
Retouched images are also made for you in high resolution, LinkedIn / facebook and CV.
HOW YOU SHOULD PREPARE FOR THE SHOOT
1. SLEEP
Have a good night's sleep the day before. Yes, we know this is the most difficult task. :)
2. CLOTHING
We require you to bring your own clothes to the photo shoot. The general rule is the more you bring the better. We will choose together which ones work best on the photos.
We like one color clothes or simple patterns, with no text or picture on them. Make sure they are in the correct size, especially around the neck.
For headshots you only need to bring top clothing.
Recommended clothes
For women: pretty blouses, blazers, tops, dresses with interesting necks, tight sweaters (deep cut tops and dresses are not good for headshots)
For men: stylish single-color shirts, slim jacket, tie, V-neck T-shirt, tennis shirt, thin jacket, or tank top
You should check out our portfolio to get a picture of what clothes were brought by others that worked well.
Tip: In some clothing stores (eg Zara, H & M), you have the option of returning the clothes you buy within 30 days. Buy some pretty new clothes, don't cut the tag, and you can take them back after the photoshoot.
Don't worry if your clothes get creased while traveling, there is an iron in the studio.
3. MAKEUP and HAIR
WOMEN
The right makeup for women is essential for headshot and portrait photography. I work with a number of proven make-up artists who know well what makeup looks good at studio lights. The best thing to do is to come to the shoot without makeup. If you don't feel comfortable on the street without makeup, there is no problem, we can help you wash it in the studio.
The question of hairstyle is a delicate issue for women, I think that everyone is coming up with a hairstyle that she wears during everyday life. It's best if you plan to go to your hairdresser just before the photoshoot. Come on with freshly washed hair and bring your favorite hair straightener or spray.
GO
For guys, no make-up is needed, small skin faults can be quickly repaired during post-production.
If you want to gel or whatever else you like to do in your hair, then take them to the photo shoot.
If you wear facial hair, I suggest you come for a photo with a couple of days of beard, and then you can shave in the middle of the photo shoot. This way we can shoot a couple of clean shaven images as well. To do this, bring your razor and everything else you use to shave.

5. PAYMENT
There is a possibility for cash or wire transfer payments. When you choose a cash payment, you can settle the amount on the day of shooting.
If you prefer money transfer, then please wire the session fee to account number 11773023-00108768 (Balázs Tóth, OTP). In the case of a referral payment, the pictures will not be transferred in any form before the full amount is received. The bill will be issued on the day of shooting.
